    John-Paul’s funeral will be held on Monday 6th June at 12pm in The Old Chapel at Manchester Crematorium. Please feel free to wear green or anything colourful.     Beloved wife of the late Kenneth, much loved sister of Carole (deceased) and Gay, sister-in-law of Martin, step-mum of Jayne and Alan, auntie of Kitty, Holly, Joe and Jonathan, keeper of Athena the cat and much loved friend, teacher and good neighbour.

     

    Rachel was a retired lecturer in Psychology and Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University. She studied and taught philosophy with the School of Economic Science and in later years taught mindfulness meditation and philosophy through the U3A.

     

    Rachel’s funeral will take place at 12pm on Wednesday 13th April at Altrincham Crematorium.  Please don’t feel that you have to wear black.  There will be a live webcast and watch again facility.     Loved and loving son of Betty and the late Bill, brother of Sue, Elaine, Billy and Andrea, nephew of Ann, Jack and Anne, uncle of Andrew, Lucy, Jack, Billy, Amy, Ryan, Harriette, Robert and Saul, great uncle and loyal friend to many.

     

    Cliff belonged to the Labour Party and lived life to their moral code. He also loved Manchester United Football Club.

     

    Cliff’s service will be held at 11.30am on Thursday 3rd March in the Side Chapel at Blackley Crematorium. Please do not feel that you have to wear black. Family flowers only please. Donations in Cliff’s memory will be for the work of The Pancreatic Cancer Action Charity. There will be a donations box at the crematorium.

    Dearly loved daughter of Alyson and Russell, beloved sister of Simon and sister-in-law of Meghan and a loving auntie to James.Claire was also a much loved granddaughter,niece, cousin and friend.


    A service to commemorate Claire’s life will be held in the Rowan Chapel at Stockport Crematorium on Monday 7th February at 1:45pm. Please dress as you wish. Family flowers only please.     Lou’s funeral will take place at noon on Tuesday 11th January at Manchester Crematorium followed at 1pm by a memorial at NIAMOS Centre, Hulme.

    Lucy spent her working life in the environmental sector and was working for Manchester City of Trees charity.

    Loved and loving Mum to Philip, Alison and Mark, Granny to Katy, Bethan and Charlie, Great Granny Babs to Amelie, Ruben and Elena, Mum-in-law to Simon and Rachael, sister to Frank, sister-in-law to Barbara and dearest friend to Doreen. 

     

    Barbara was an amazing homemaker, devoted to her family and was a volunteer campaigner for the Labour Party.

     

    Barbara’s funeral will be a very small close family occasion. Next year her ashes will be interred with a tree and this will be a bigger occasion.

    Celia served her community as a nurse and later in her life as a hotelier in Buxton.

    Beryl died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Gerry, dearest Mum of Steve and Heather and mum in law of Sally and Paul. Wonderful Nana to Sophie, Olivia and Edward (deceased), Penny and Alex. A lovely lady with many interests who loved her family, friends and neighbours.

     

    Beryl’s funeral will take place at noon on Wednesday 25th August at Manchester Crematorium.

    Paul was a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Saint Mary’s Hospital for over 40 years.

    Andrew was from Rossendale but was living in London. He was a university lecturer at Middlesex University and Barnet & Southgate College.

     

    Andrew’s celebration of life will be held at West Pennines Remembrance Park at 1.30pm on Wednesday 18th August. Family flowers only please.     “Her love, kindness and joyful spirit will be greatly missed by us all”

     

    A small memorial service will be held at the Cypress Chapel at Stockport Crematorium on Wednesday 23 December. Sadly numbers will be limited due to Covid-19 restrictions. Her family hope to have a memorial service in Tuzla, Bosnia in summer 2021 alongside her friends and family, where her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband, Luka.

     

    When a loved one departed, Marija used to light a candle in honour of their life. We invite you to do the same as you remember her.
