A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at Manchester Crematorium, in the old chapel, on Wednesday the 2nd of May at 2.30pm.
Thank you to everyone for their kindness and support following her death. No flowers please but if you would like to make a donation in her memory, to support the work of the Macmillan Nurses, please do so through Helen’s tribute fund page, via the donations box at the crematorium, or send to Natural Endings (please make cheques payable to ‘Macmillan Cancer Support’).
As ‘purple’ was Helen’s favourite colour, if you could wear a little something in purple, she would love it.
The crematorium is on located on Barlow Moor Road, Manchester M21 7GZ, and if you’re driving should you find it difficult to park there is a little on-street parking in front of the shops on Barlow Moor Rd and on Hardcastle Avenue, which is within the estate on the opposite side of Barlow Moor Road to the crematorium.

12th May 1987 – 12th April 2018
Much loved partner of Kate, dear daughter of Gillian and Dermot, beloved sister of Colm, Róisín and Niall, darling granddaughter of Alice and Hugh, sister-in-law to Hannah, a much loved niece, cousin and friend.
Áine’s funeral will take place on Friday 27th at 3pm at Manchester Crematorium, Barlow Moor Rd, Manchester M21 7GZ. Currently there is limited parking at the crematorium. There is a little on street parking in front of shops on Barlow Moor Rd and on Hardcastle Ave within the estate on the opposite side of the road to the crematorium.
Afterwards everyone is welcome upstairs at The Didsbury Pub, 852 Wilmslow Rd, Manchester M20 2SG to share memories of Aine and to celebrate her life.
Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for the Labour Party (Didsbury Branch) who Áine very much supported. There will be a donations box at the crematorium or donations can be sent to Natural Endings. Cheques should be made to ‘The Labour Party’.

17th June 1928 – 23rd March 2018Peggy Norton nee SmithPeggy died peacefully, with her children by her side, on 23 March 2018. She was the loving and much-loved wife of the late Eric, beloved Mum of Sue and Chris, greatly loved Nonny of Paul and Rob, proud great-grandmother of Reid and Leo and loving mother-in-law of Mario.Peggy was a long-time Timperley resident who had recently moved to Keate House, Lymm.Peggy’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 24th April at 12.00 at Altrincham Crematorium. At her request – please no black clothes and no flowers, but donations if desired to the North West Air Ambulance or the RNLI. Much loved mum of Jacqueline and Lorna and the late Candas and Vincent. Dear partner of Darryl. Beloved gran of Dawn and Sam and great gran of Jermaine.
If anyone would like to make a donation to charity in Dorcas’ memory please make it for ‘Can Survive UK’ who run Women Only Wednesdays, cancer support group, at the Kath Locke Centre Hulme. A place where Dorcas had fantastic support and friendship. There will be a donations box at the church or donations can be forwarded to Natural Endings Funeral Services.

Much loved mum of Adam, Candy, Wendy and Justin.
Maureen’s funeral will take place on Friday 2nd March at 11.15am at Altrincham Crematorium.
6th April 1972 – 21st January 2018
Husband to Susan, daddy to Olive and Robyn, son to Kathy and Mike and brother to Sally and Richard.
David’s funeral service will be held at Gorton Monastery on Monday 12th February at 12pm. Arrival can be from 11.15am. All are welcome. On arrival please sign the visitors’ books as David’s family would like to have a record of everyone attending. For directions and map click here.
For anyone that couldn’t make it to the service you can watch the video.
After the service there will be a private burial in Chorlton to be attended by family members only. Everyone else is welcome to make their way to the wake at Chorlton Irish Club.
David’s family have requested that you don’t bring flowers. If instead you would like to make a donation in his memory please make it for a charity close to his heart: Headway Warrington.
