Allison Mary Hodgson
9th December 1964 – 5th June 2025
Ally is the loved and loving wife of Ian, mother of Becca and Andy, daughter of Frank and the late Dorothy, stepdaughter of Christine and the late Joe, sister of Frank, Peter and Ray, granma of Theo and Lola and friend to many. Originally from Blackburn, she settled in and loved the Cliviger Valley.
Ally’s farewell ceremony will be held at 2pm on Thursday 10th July at Todmorden Unitarian Church, Honey Hole Road, Todmorden, OL14 6LE. Followed by the opportunity to share memories at The Golden Lion, Fielden Square, Todmorden, OL14 6LZ.
Despite it being a church venue her ceremony will not be a religious one. Ally’s family intend to dress in traditional attire, however we invite you to come dressed as you feel.
In Ally’s memory, her family would like to raise money for her ‘happy place’ at the Turton Tower Bee Hives, which the team have graciously decided to rename Ally’s Apiary. There will be a donations box at the church, or donations can accepted via our JustGiving page.
Please allow time to find parking in the car parks and on-street parking around Todmorden. The church is also accessible via a short walk from Todmorden train station.
