Barbara Howgate
14th October 1942 – 29th January 2023
Loved and loving wife to David, mother to Sarah and Jason, gran and nana to Isaac and Thomas, mother-in-law to James and Caroline, step-mum to Sian and Kathryn and dear friend to many. Born and raised in Yorkshire, Barbara lived in Skipton in recent years and was a retired copywriter.
Barbara’s funeral will take place at 12.15 on Friday 17th February at Oakworth Crematorium, Wide Lane, Keighley, BD22 0RJ. Her family feel that sharing memories more informally after the crematorium is a really important part of Barbara’s day. So after her service please join them for refreshments and a slideshow at The Village Hall, Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire, BD23 6EX. You can RSVP to Sarah her email is showgate@icloud.com
Please don’t feel that you have to wear black for the funeral. If you would like to make a donation in Barbara’s memory please make it to Parkinsons’ UK or the British Red Cross charities. There will be a donations box at the crematorium.
Barbara’s service will be available to watch via webcast for family and friends who can’t be there in person.
