Chris Lawrence
8th November 1937 – 3rd June 2024
Loved and loving wife of Doug, mother of Anne and John, grandma, sister of the late Sylvia, aunty and friend.
Chris lived in Colden and formerly lived in Woodhouse, Cowling.
She was a valued teacher at South Craven School, Cross Hills.
Following a private cremation, Chris’ memorial will be held at 11am on Monday 24th June 2024. The memorial venue is Natural Endings Funeral Services, The Former Mail Sorting Depot, Rise Lane, Todmorden, OL14 7AA.
Please do not feel that you should wear black, colour is welcome. Wear what you’re comfortable in.
No flowers, please. Donations are invited to Vasculitis UK (click the link to donate). There will also be a donations box at the memorial.
Parking: If you have limited mobility, please give Natural Endings a call on 01706 941 757 to reserve a parking space. Parking is available for free at Oxford Street Car Park, at Morrisons (5-minute walk away) (potentially with a new two hour time restriction) and payable parking is available at Bramsche Square Car Park nearby. There is also parking at the train station, which is next to the funeral home, but check if there are any restrictions in place.
After the memorial, Chris’ family would like as many of you as possible to join them at the New Delight Inn in Blackshaw Head for refreshments. Please collect a printed copy of directions after the memorial, as the Sat Nav might send you the wrong way.
