
Dorothy Lee
11/01/1927 – 16/12/2025
After a remarkable 98 years, 11 months and 5 days on earth, Dorothy Lee (nee Crossley), passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025. Dotty, who lived most of her life in Littleborough, was known for her devotion to her family and for her love of books, birds, baking, English gardens and foreign travel.
Wife to Frank Lee, Sister to Stanley, Sadie and Ernest; Mother to Jane, Tim, Sally, Kerry (second mum to Irene); Grandma to Katie, Sam, Laura, Gracie, Pearl, Fiona and Andy; great grandmother to Frankie and truly a loyal friend to everyone, she will be deeply missed.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 1.15pm on Friday 2nd January at Natural Endings, Todmorden.
Family flowers only please. If you would like to make a gift in Dorothy’s memory, she loved birds, so a donation to the RSPB would be welcome.
There is no preferred dress code, please wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
In honour of Dorothy’s love of an afternoon tea we will be serving tea and cake, so please let Kerry know (kerry.lee.kal@gmail.com) if you will be joining us.
Natural Endings is next to the train station, with regular train connections between Manchester and Leeds. There is parking available in Todmorden town centre, for a small hourly fee. There are a couple of parking spaces for those with limited mobility, please get in touch to reserve a space.
