Lesley died peacefully at home in Gatley.
Lesley was the loved and loving wife to the late Harry Boardman, mother of Tim, Robin and Trish and grandmother of Hanna.
With Harry, Lesley was well-known on the North West music scene, running several folk clubs and contributing to records, books, television programmes and live performances as well as dancing with the Poynton Jemmers Morris Team.
Lesley’s funeral will be held at 12.45 on Wednesday 1st April in the Cypress Chapel (old chapel) at Stockport Crematorium. If you aren’t able to attend you can watch the live stream:

Please do not feel that you have to wear black. Lesley’s family request that you don’t buy flowers but you are welcome to bring a flower from your garden or a walk.
